Why a clear and transparent recall process is necessary for the AZ Cannabis Industry.

Arizona Cannabis Community,

As you may have seen in AZDHS communications or media reports, on Tuesday we received communication that Baked Bros batch BBWS150I-1 tested positive for salmonella.

This finding is inconsistent with the results we were given, which found this batch to be contaminant-free. Nonetheless, we cooperated fully with a voluntary recall.

(Please see the most recent results of this batch below)

Only 7 units of this batch were released to consumers, and those customers have been contacted and offered refunds. No other products were released to consumers and no other Baked Bros products are affected by this voluntary recall.

We are actively working with the lab to identify the root cause of this discrepancy. The safety and quality of our products is of critical importance to our company mission and the reputation of this industry.

We will continue to work collaboratively with the AZDHS and the Testing Advisory Counsel, to address errors and gaps such as these, in the testing program.

Thank you for your continued support.

Respectfully,

Thomas Rimbach

Baked Bros™ CEO
