Our Dedication to Medication Begins Here

Strain-Specific:

Each of our edibles are made from a specific strain, with a specific therapeutic goal in mind. Always check the label of any edible to determine what effect you will receive.

Indicas:

Indica-dominant strains tend to sedate and relax, with more somatic or “full-body” effects. Indica is used to provide symptom relief from anxiety, insomnia, pain, and muscle spasms including seizures. Popular Indica strains include Grape Ape, Granddaddy Purple, and Northern Lights.

Sativas:

Sativa-dominant strains tend to be uplifting and support creativity, with cerebrally-focused effects. Sativa strains are known to provide symptom relief from depression, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), and fatigue. Sativa strains include Sour Diesel, Jack Herrer, and Lemon Haze.

What are Cannabinoids?

THC:

(Tetrahydrocannabinol), the most common psychoactive cannabinoid in marijuana, is known for its mind-altering properties. THC also serves many roles in promoting cannabis wellness. THC dominant strains, known as sativa, have energetic and cerebral effects that allow users to remain focused and socially adept.

CBD:

(Cannabidiol), the second leading active compound in marijuana, is commonly associated with indica-dominant strains. Some users prefer its relaxed, mellow effects, compared to the more intoxicating effects of THC.

Milligrams:

The amount of THC in edibles is measured by milligrams. The recommended standard dosage is 10mg/THC per serving size, though this changes with personal biology. When deciding how much to eat, you should always follow product labels or consult a specialist.

Inhaling vs. Ingesting Cannabis

How it Works

THC is metabolized in the liver and converted into 11-hydroxy, which is not present when simply inhaling cannabis. This active metabolite reacts quicker with the blood-brain barrier, giving users a more body-intensive and longer lasting experience. 11-hydroxy and other cannabinoids play a role in the immune system, as well. Medicinal purposes range from reducing nausea and vomiting, relief of cancer symptoms, treating chronic pain, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and other neurological disorders.

The Biphasic Effect

More is not always better. When it comes to cannabis dosing, large amounts tend to sedate users. The users tolerance also plays a part. The higher the tolerance that there is, the more cannabis that is needed to achieve the same effects.
